The new Bachelor's degree programme “Geospatial Engineering” started this autumn 2018 and also includes lectures at PLUS: Geomatics as well as spatial, transportation and environmental planning are at the core of this programme. The focus is on measures, analyses and design of our living space.

The thematic syntheses of National Research Programme 68 (NRP 68) presents concepts and strategies to secure soil as a resource and its functions and ecosystem services in the long term. The third volume in the series describes the decisive role of spatial planning for the sustainable use of soil.

Outstanding Master’s and doctoral theses from ETH students are honored with the Silver Medal of ETH Zurich together with a financial sum. Only eight percent of all ETH PhD thesis are awarded per year.
