external page The report consists of case studies in varying contexts and at different geographical levels, to give an overview of the methods used in mapping and assessing forest ecosystem services. Prof. Adrienne Grêt-Regamey, Sibyl Brunner and Bettina Weibel from PLUS have contributed to the report with a case study focusing on the Swiss Alps forests.
The Mapping and Assessment of Ecosystems and their Services (MAES) is one of the initiatives supporting the EU Biodiversity Strategy to 2020.
