The main goal of Adrienne’s ERC project is to understand whether peri-urban homogenised landscapes (with standardized business centers, single family-houses and shopping malls) decrease people’s sense of place and affect their motivation to initiate changes.

Through land-use modelling, PLUS will start working soon on a participative landscape development tool to encourage people to make intentional changes to the landscape as well as to promote novel ways of deliberate decision-making.
